Gandhi College was founded in 1969, by Pt. Chaturbhuj Sharma as known as Bapu of Bundelkhand (formal Educaion minister Of Uttar Pradesh) with the noble aim of bringing quality higher education within reach of the underprivileged sections of society, especially in backward regions like Bundelkhand. Over the years, we have remained true to this mission, constantly evolving to meet the educational and developmental needs of our students.

Our focus has always been on holistic education, one that develops not only the intellect but also the character and conscience of our learners. The Mahavidyalaya continues to progress under a student-centric approach, and we take pride in our inclusive academic environment, our dedicated faculty, and our commitment to community development.
